Jay King's Dog Academy is proud to design and implement the dog training curriculum for the following prison programs:


 C.A.R.E. - Baker Correctional Institution Work Camp
 D.A.W.G.S. - Gulf Forestry Work Camp
 T.A.I.L.S. - Lawtey Correctional Institution
 H.A.R.T. - Walluka Correctional Institution Work Camp
 R.O.C.K. Hounds - Union Correctional Institution
 U.T.O.P.I.A. - Taylor Correctional Institution Work Camp

C.A.R.E. 
CARE "Canine Assisted Re-Entry" Starting July 2013, this dog training program will be sponsored by 
First Coast No More Homeless Pets (FCNMHP) out of Jacksonville, Florida in partnership with Baker Correctional Institution. The dog training is directed by Jay King's Dog Academy.

D.A.W.G.S.
DAWGS "Developing Adoptable Dogs With Good Sociability". This is a partnership program between Gulf Correction Institution and St. Joseph Bay Humane Society at the Gulf Forestry Work Camp with training directed by Jay King's Dog Academy. DAWGS program started on May 20, 2009. The St. Joseph Bay Humane Society also serves as the animal shelter for Port St. Joe, Florida.


H.A.R.T.
HART "Heartworm Assistance Rehabilitation Training" program started the first class in May 2010. This is a partnership program with Wakulla Correctional Institution - Work Camp and Tallahassee-Leon Community Animal Service Center, with training directed by Jay King's Dog Academy. The inmates will be taking heartworm positive dogs after their heartworm treatment through a twelve week recovery and obedience training session.


T. A. I. L. S.
TAILS "Teaching Animals and Inmates Life Skills" Starting July 2013, this dog training program is sponsored by First Coast No More Homeless Pets  (FCNMHP) out of Jacksonville, Florida in partnership with Lawtey Correctional Institution at Lawtey, Florida.

R.O.C.K. Hounds
The R.O.C.K. Hounds (Rehabilitation Of Castaway K-9's dog training program is sponsored by First Coast No More Homeless Pets (FCNMHP) out of Jacksonville, Florida in partnership with Union Correctional Institution.

U.T.O.P.I.A.
The UTOPIA "Undergoing Training & Obedience in Prison to Increase Adoptability" program is between the Tallahassee-Leon Animal Service Center and Taylor Correctional Institution. This training program was started by Jay King's Dog Academy in June 2007.


A.D.A.P.T.
The ADAPT "Adoptable Dog After Prisoner Training" is sponsored by The Human Society of Northeast Florida and it was started at the New River Correctional Institution, O-Unit Work Camp program on June 6, 2011. The New River Correctional Institution is one of the facilities closed by Florida Department of Corrections in 2011. The program was moved to Lawtey Correctional Institution and the new program named TAILS.
